Our production plant has been designing and manufacturing various types of lifting jacks and scissor table lifts for over 20 years. During this period, we have developed skills and acquired knowledge that has enabled us to take the lead in the sector of crane devices. We conduct research works and take advantage of the recent technical solutions whilst at the same time adapting them for the purposes of our designs. Because of this, COLUMBUS McKINNON’s offer is continually extended to include new models of lifts with increasingly wider functionality. In order to maintain our market position, we have always relied on effective, comprehensive and innovative solutions.

Thanks to our wide experience, modern tools and extensive knowledge of our engineers, COLUMBUS McKINNON products are ideally suited to the customer’s needs as early as at the design stage. This guarantees that the ordered device will perform well in the specific applications for which it has been designed. As one of few European manufacturers we have our own specialist software, which enables us to verify models very quickly, when taking all kinematic and mechanical interdependencies into account. The calculations are based on product standard PN EN 1570 +A2, with which the devices produced by us fully comply. In our work we take advantage of the most recent design environment, such as SolidWorks or specialist applications for scissor lift tables. Our experience combined with modern technology allows us to meet the expectations of our customers.

Experienced engineering personnel. Modern design tools. Own, specialist software.

The production process in our production plant in Plewiska conforms to the highest European standards. We rely on as broad as possible scope of works performed in our headquarters. Resarch and tests

Safety is our priority. COLUMBUS McKINNON hydraulic lifts and table lifts meet the highest standards also in this respect. Each of our devices undergoes extensive type testing, taking into account risk analysis according to EN 1050 and the guidelines of the PN EN 1570+A2 product standard. The tests not only cover the scope of specifications, shop drawings, electrical and hydraulic system drawings, but also strength calculations and product documentation.

– testing various types of in-plane loads – testing each safety subassembly and its operation – dynamic load tests at 110% of nominal lifting capacity – static load tests at 125% of nominal lifting capacity Thanks to extensive and rigorous testing procedures, we deliver reliable and safe crane devices to our customers. At their request, we issue factory certificates according to DIN EN 10204.

Full scope of type testing. Rigorous and carefully prepared testing procedures.

COLUMBUS McKINNON crane devices are installed by the top specialists with many years of installation experience. The installation is based on decisions agreed upon by both parties and is completed quickly, efficiently and without any problems at the customer’s location. We explain and consider location conditions as early as at the offer preparation stage.

The most common installation option is the placement of the lift on a foundation based on the foundation layout plan supplied by the customer. You will find the reference foundation layout plan at: [plan_zabudowy_fundamentu.pdf] or in [download]. Our technical service staff also verify installation assumptions directly at the Customer’s premises by checking minimum distances, control system location or access to the lift’s power supply, etc. In order to ensure an efficient and professional installation, prior to the installation, we check that the installation assumptions are met using a pre-installation survey.

Professional end efficient installation process

In addition to production and distribution activities for hydraulic and table lifts, we also provide professional warranty and post-warranty services. By employing the best specialists – first-class employees licensed as maintenance persons by the Office of Technical Inspection – we know that we can count on them to identify each problem and provide proper assistance.

We have a spare parts warehouse, which is the largest in the country, therefore we are able to carry out all repair work quickly and efficiently.
